Talent Collective Global Limited provides a platform where casting professionals can access information about talent, including children, for the purpose of casting.
We recognise the importance of safeguarding everyone on our platform, and in particular children (defined as anyone under the age of 18). This Policy has been introduced for the protection and safeguarding of children who use our services. We have built processes into the platform with that in mind.
This Policy applies to anyone using our platform, including children, their parents or guardians, any organisations authorised to represent children, and casting professionals.
Our platform is designed with safeguarding in mind. Children’s contact details are held securely and will never be made available through the platform. (Please read our Privacy Policy for more information about how we look after personal information.)
Any contact by a casting professional is made using the contact details for the organisation representing the child.
Organisations representing children must be approved following a discussion with our Team, and checks are carried out to establish each organisation’s credentials. Once an organisation has registered and been approved on our platform they can invite children to create Young Talent profiles. However, the contact details linked to each child’s profile are the contact details of their representative organisation.
Every Young Talent profile must be approved by their representative organisation and is not made available for casting searches until it has been approved. Any subsequent additions and amends to the content of a Young Talent profile must be approved by the organisation before it will be visible to casting professionals.
Casting professionals’ identities are verified by our Team using an extensive vetting process before they are allowed to use our platform.
Entirely at our discretion, we reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts if we have safeguarding concerns.
Talent Collective Global Limited does not undertake any activities that would be regarded as regulated activity as defined by legislation protecting vulnerable groups in the UK; however, we have designed our processes and developed this Policy as part of our commitment to protecting and safeguarding children. Our aim is to create a safe environment for all children to showcase their talent.
To do this we will use best endeavours to ensure the legitimate and genuine use of our platform for the purpose of introducing talent.
We will monitor how our platform is being used and act on any information that we receive which suggests that our platform is not being used for the correct purpose. We will withdraw access from anyone we reasonably believe is not using our platform for the correct purpose.
Our online platform connects talent to casting professionals but any face-to-face contact organised via the organisation representing the child with the casting professional is between those parties, and Talent Collective Global Limited can take no responsibility for safeguarding beyond the online introduction.
When uploading media of children to our platform, organisations representing children and parents/guardians should ensure the media is professional and appropriate for the purposes of casting only. (Please refer to our FAQ page for information about what is required and appropriate content for a Young Talent profile.)
